A FREE day specificly set out for our new MEMBERS
and improver competitors.
Learn how you and your horse should be presented, a run down on classes and some ring etiquette, all just in time for the beginning of the show season!

Introduction To Cutting Day
Satrday 10th of November at the Geelong Showgrounds, starting at
10am. The day has been designed for any members that have an interest in cutting and will focus on the basics, introducing your horse to the mechanical bull as well as instruction on dry work.
The cost for the day is $10 for members and $25 for non-members. Waiver forms will need to be filled in by non-members.
Canteen Fascilities will be available.

The cutting day was a huge success with many bringing there horses along and lots more popping in through out the day to check out proceedings. We would like to thank those who gave up there time to organise and run the day. The next proposed cutting day is our club day on the 16th of December. First Show For The Season!
September 22nd saw WDQHA hold there very first show for the season. The weather man turned on the delightful weather and every one brought there smiles along. I think most would agree, the event was a success! Thank you so much to all our hard working volunteers who helped with the day! See you all on October the 21st at Royal Geelong Show!

Mt. Moriac Reserve
The WDQHA now has a second club ground to use. A 12 month lease is signed and we are now the second user group at the Mt Moriac Reserve along with the Mt Moriac Pony Club.
Its hoped that these grounds will allow for more growth for the club, a chance to possibly gain some more youth riders as well as open up many many positive opportunities.
General Committee Meetings
Our General Committee meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Geelong Showgrounds Clubrooms starting at 7:30pm.
AGM Update
We would like to congratulate last years committee on a job well done. As a club we all have a lot to look forward to for 2013-14 season. We farewelled a few old faces and welcomed onto the committee a number of new ones!
We are all excited to get things rolling for the new season and hope every one has a terrific season!
